I’ve been in L.A. yesterday to the amazing Getty Museum where I had a great time with my friend Ben and his two brothers. The museum is on the top of a hill from where you have a unique view of Los Angeles: to get to it, you cruise on a James Bond movie style train that takes you from the underground parking lot to the entrance. On the way, you immediately have the feeling of being in a special place, like no other. The whole place really has a classy  mood, I can imagine myself drinking martini wearing a stylish turtle neck, while talking with Andy Wharol about his weird haircut… Anyway. I took millions of pictures and I could have been taking more and more because the place is simply incredible. Go take a look if you can!

P.s. I didn’t have any money from the Getty org. for this sponsorization of the museum!

It has been long since my last post, in the last weeks I’ve been very busy with the presentation of my final portfolio for the photography class, that I completely forgot of the blog. As I said, I’ve been working very hard, studying for the final exams, shooting, selecting the best images (selecting!!! The most difficult thing on earth) and editing, then fucking around with photoshop and wasting time… but! I’m very happy for the results, I have some shots that I love, and a lot of memories for this last two months. Here is one of the shots that I love the most: it’s a night shot of a foggy Santa Barbara.

This is a time-lapse video I’ve been working on in the last days. It has been kinda intense: it’s made with 3000 photos, and I had three days for doing it all, from planning it, shooting, and then editing it. It is mostly shot in the beautiful Santa Barbara, where I live now. Here is the result. I hope you’ll like it!

P.s. you can watch it in HD on vimeo, just click on the vimeo link on the player. Enjoy

Here I am,

I just created this blog and I’m very excited to have a space where I can share thoughts, images, videos, or whatever comes on my mind with everyone. It’s a great thing, especially now that I’m far from home. I miss Italy a lot, but studying here in the States is awesome!

By the way, I’m not the guy in the picture if you’re wondering, but I wish I was… Confident, proud, and naked… Yeah, I would be really cool!
